Sainy Beauty Parlour

Our spot is in Pareshipura, right near the Kankeshwari Mandir. If you are walking down that street, you can't miss our sign. Indore is always busy, and this area is no different. The shop is small, just a couple of mirrors and some shelves with old bottles of lotions and hair oils. It gets a bit cramped on Saturday afternoons when everyone wants something done at the same time. There is a small bench outside for when the inside gets full. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. The floor is tile and it gets messy with hair pretty fast, so we are always sweeping. Most of the people who come here live in the nearby streets. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming here on their own. It is just a basic place where you can get your hair cut or your face cleaned up without a lot of fuss. We use the same brands we have used for years because we know how they work. Sometimes we run out of water if the tank isn't filled, so we have to keep an eye on that. It's not a polished studio like you see on TV, just a regular shop where we do our job and chat with the neighbors about the weather or the local news. We keep the lights on until late most nights because that is when people are free.
