S Charlie Men Salon

S Charlie Men Salon is located at 13 Vinayak Bhavan in the Bhawarkuaa area of Indore. We’re right by the Devi Ahilya Girls Hostel, so there are always lots of students and young people walking around this part of town. Bhawar Kuan is a lively place to be, especially in the evenings when everyone is out getting food or heading to classes. The shop is on the ground floor and we keep the door open most of the time so the air stays fresh. It’s a men’s salon, and we get a lot of the college guys coming in to get their hair fixed up before exams or holidays. The chairs are lined up against the wall and we have a small TV that’s usually showing the cricket or the news. I’ve lived in Indore my whole life, and opening this place in Bhawarkuaa felt like a good idea because of all the activity here. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a front desk person. You just walk in, see who’s next, and take a seat. The walls have a few posters of different hairstyles but most people just tell me what they want without looking at them. It’s a simple setup in Vinayak Bhavan. We work hard, keep the scissors moving, and try to make sure everyone leaves looking a bit better than when they walked in. It’s just a normal day’s work.
