Rajesh Gents Parlour

This is Rajesh Gents Parlour over at 2 Heera Nagar in the Sukhliya area of Indore. We’ve been operating from this small spot for a good number of years. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. We handle men’s haircuts and beard trims mainly. The shop is just a simple room with the equipment we need. We don’t go for anything too flashy. Most of our customers are from the Heera Nagar neighborhood. They just drop in when they need a trim. We know how people like their hair cut, so we don't have to ask many questions. Indore can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s just one of those local places where you can relax for a bit. We don't have a receptionist or anything. You just walk in and wait your turn. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but we try to move as fast as we can without rushing the job. It’s a one-man show mostly, or maybe two on busy days. We take pride in the fact that people keep coming back. There’s no corporate talk here. Just a neighborhood barber shop where the chairs are a bit old but comfortable. We keep the scissors sharp and the water warm. That’s how we do things in Sukhliya.
