If you are looking for us, we are on the first floor of Fauji Tower. That’s right on A B Road in the Vijay Nagar area of Indore. It’s actually directly opposite Metro Tower, so if you see that big building, you know you’re in the right spot. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up the stairs, which keeps us moving. The view from the windows is mostly just the traffic moving up and down A B Road, which is always busy. Inside, we have a mix of things going on since it’s a spa and a beauty saloon. There’s the smell of different creams and sometimes some incense if we feel like it. The lighting isn't too bright, which is nice. We have the usual equipment, some chairs that have seen better days but are still comfortable, and plenty of mirrors. It can get a bit dusty with all the road construction nearby, so we are always wiping things down. Most of the folks who come in are locals or people working in the nearby offices who need a quick break. We don't do anything too fancy, just the basic stuff people need to feel a bit better. It’s a steady kind of work. We show up, open the shutters, and see who the day brings. It’s just a normal business in a tall building in a fast-growing part of town. We just keep the place running day by day.
