If you head over to Street No 54 in Vijay Nagar, you will find Pandey Sir Commerce Classes on the first floor of 12 New Era. We are right by New Era Public School, which is handy because everyone knows where that is. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when it's busy between sessions. Inside, the rooms are filled with the sound of pens scratching on paper and the occasional rustle of accounts books. Pandey Sir has been doing this in Indore for a good while now. The space isn't meant to look like a modern office; it looks like a place where students actually come to study. We have whiteboards that have seen a lot of use and rows of wooden benches that have been there since we opened. It’s usually pretty loud outside with the school traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don’t use any complicated systems here. Everything is done with paper, ink, and a lot of talking through problems. Sometimes the tea comes in from the shop downstairs, and we take a quick break before the next batch of students arrives. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. People just know us from word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they drop their kids off at the school nearby. It is just a simple, busy classroom.
