O P Coaching Institute

We’ve been here at 36, Jaora Compound for quite some time now, right across from M Y Hospital. It’s a busy spot in Indore, but inside our doors, things are a bit more focused. O P Coaching Institute started because we saw students struggling to keep up with their classes and needing a bit of extra help that they weren't getting elsewhere. Most days you'll find us sitting around the wooden desks, going over notes or helping someone figure out a math problem that’s been bothering them for an hour. It isn't anything fancy here. We have basic chairs and whiteboards, and maybe the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the teaching happens regardless. The traffic outside can get loud, especially with the hospital so close, but we’ve all gotten used to the sirens and the general bustle of the area. We mostly handle local students who walk over or take the bus. Sometimes parents drop by just to see how their kids are doing, and we usually have a quick chat near the entrance. It's a small operation, really. Just a few of us working together to make sure the kids understand their schoolwork before they head home for the evening. We don't have big advertisements or a huge office, just this space in the compound where we get the work done every day. Sometimes we have to shuffle the benches around to make space for a new group, and the floor always seems to have a bit of chalk dust on it no matter how much we sweep. It's just a regular place for regular students.
