People around Pardesipura know where to find us. We’ve been at 2/1 Sarvara Nagar Gali 1 for quite some time now, just off that busy Teen Puliya Main Road. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic heading toward the square, but inside it’s just the sound of the fans and the clippers. I usually open up early because the morning crowd likes to get their shave done before heading to work. We have these old chairs that have seen thousands of faces over the years. It’s not a huge place, just a simple room with mirrors and some posters on the wall that have probably faded a bit by now. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner drops by and we just chat while waiting for the next person to walk in. Being near Teen Puliya Square means there is always someone passing by. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the usual haircuts and shaves that guys in this part of Indore need. You see the same faces every two or three weeks, and you start to learn about their families and their jobs. It’s more of a community spot than just a business, really. We keep the towels clean and the scissors sharp, and that’s about it. If you’re walking down Gali 1, you can’t really miss the blue door. It’s a decent enough spot to sit down for twenty minutes and get sorted.
