Modern Hair Parlour

Modern Hair Parlour is located at 356, Green Park Colony on Dhar Road, right in the Raj Mohalla area of Indore. Even though the name says "Modern," we are actually a very traditional and simple shop. We have been in this part of Indore for many years. The Green Park Colony is a nice place and we get a lot of regulars who live just a few streets away. Every morning, I open the heavy iron shutter and start setting up the combs and the spray bottles. The air in Indore can be quite dry, so we always have water ready for the customers. We have a few chairs that have seen better days, but they work just fine for a haircut. Raj Mohalla is a busy neighborhood and there is always the smell of street food like poha and jalebi coming from the stalls nearby. Our shop is just one room with some big mirrors and a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. We don't do anything very fancy, just the basic hair styling and grooming that people need. Sometimes we have the TV on in the corner, but usually, people just like to talk about what is happening in the city. It is a humble place and we are happy to be a part of the daily life here on Dhar Road. We keep the prices low so that everyone can afford to come in.
