Mayur Cane Furniture

Mayur Cane Furniture is located right at 101, Nagar Nigam Road. Most people find us by looking for Shrikrishna Talkies, since we’re directly opposite that. It’s a handy landmark to have. Our shop is full of all sorts of cane items, from chairs to tables and smaller decorative things. There’s always that specific smell of dried grass and wood in here. We spend a lot of time arranging the pieces so they don't get damaged, but it's a bit of a squeeze sometimes. The traffic from the cinema across the street means there’s always people walking by. Some stop in just to look, which is fine with us. Cane work takes a bit of patience, and we have plenty of that. The shop isn't fancy, just a plain floor and a lot of furniture. We’ve been at this address for a long time. 101 Nagar Nigam Road is home to us. We keep the doors open to let the air in, though it brings in some dust from the road.
