M. P. Earthmovers

You can find us over at 16, Kibe Compound. It’s a place that usually smells like diesel and old metal. We deal with parts for big machines, so there’s always something heavy being moved around. The ground is a bit uneven and there is always a layer of dust on the shelves, no matter how much we clean. It’s just the nature of the business when you’re working with earthmoving equipment. We don’t have a flashy showroom. Most people who come here are looking for a specific bolt or a hydraulic part that they can’t find anywhere else. We spend a lot of time looking through old catalogues or checking the back storage. It gets quite loud when the trucks are loading out front. We’ve been in this compound for a while, and the neighbors know us well. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs when the weather is nice. The office is just a small corner with a desk that’s seen better days. We don’t mind it much. It’s a place for people who know what they need and don’t care about fancy decorations. The work is steady and we like it that way. We just keep the inventory moving and help out the mechanics who stop by with their problems.
