Krishna Hair Salon & Gents Parlour

This is Krishna Hair Salon & Gents Parlour. We are located at 18 Kumahrkhedi, on Ujain Road in the Sadar Bazar area of Indore. We are pretty close to Marimata Square, which is a major spot around here. I’ve been running this place for several years. It’s a gents parlour, so we mostly do haircuts, shaves, and maybe a face wash for men. Indore 452006 is where I grew up, and Sadar Bazar is always full of energy. The shop is small and can get a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting, but everyone is patient. We have some old wooden benches and a few mirrors that I’ve had since the beginning. I like being near Marimata Square because there is always movement. The sounds of the traffic and the nearby shops are part of my daily life. I keep the tools in a drawer and make sure to clean everything at the end of the day. It’s not a luxury place, but it’s reliable. I have a small radio that plays old songs while I work. My customers are mostly people who live in Kumahrkhedi or work in the local market. We don't have any big goals, just to keep the shop going and do a decent job for whoever walks in. I usually drink a lot of chai while talking to the customers. The floor is grey stone and gets cool in the evening. It’s a decent life here.
