Krashna Hair Cutting Saloon

If you’re driving down 60 Feet Road in Kalani Nagar, you’ve probably passed us near the MP Public Square. Krashna Hair Cutting Saloon is a small, honest shop at number 27. It’s the kind of place where the door is usually swinging open and shut as people from around Indore pop in. We don't have any of those fancy reclining chairs that look like they belong in a spaceship; our stuff is practical and gets the job done. The walls have a few posters of different styles, but most guys just come in and ask for the same thing they’ve been getting for years. We do a lot of beard trims and quick cuts for kids who would rather be anywhere else. The noise from the road outside is pretty constant, with horns and bikes going by, but inside we just focus on the hair. Sometimes we run out of change in the till and have to ask someone to wait a minute while we run next door. It’s just the way things are in a neighborhood shop. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve seen kids grow up and start bringing their own kids in for their first haircuts. We don’t put on any acts here. It’s just about having a steady hand and making sure the clippers are oiled and ready for the next person who walks through the door.
