We are located at Plot No. 122 in the New Loha Mandi area, right across from Sapna Sangeets. Keshrimal And Sons has been operating out of this spot for a good while now. The market is usually a whirlwind of activity, with people shouting and vehicles trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. Our place is pretty straightforward. We have the storage area and a small section where we keep the books and handle the customers who come by. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. You’ll see piles of metal and hear the constant sound of it being loaded onto trailers. Being opposite Sapna Sangeets makes it easier for people to find us, though the traffic on that side can be a real pain in the late afternoons. We try to keep the place as clean as you can possibly keep a steel yard, which isn’t very. There’s always a layer of iron dust on the window ledges. We know most of the other shop owners around Plot No. 122. We help each other out when someone’s truck breaks down or if someone needs an extra hand with a heavy load. It’s a community of sorts. We don’t use any fancy computer systems, just honest work and keeping track of what we have on the floor. It’s how the family has always done things, and we don't see any reason to change it now. We just focus on the task at hand and getting through the day.
