We are over at 1/4, Road No.3 in the Vijay Nagar area of Indore. K K Hair Dresser & Gents Parlour is tucked away near Krishna Dairy, which most people in the neighborhood know very well. Vijay Nagar is a lively part of the city, and our little street sees a lot of people walking by throughout the day. The shop itself is nothing too special to look at, just a regular gents parlour where you can get your hair cut. We have been here for a few years now. It started small and it has stayed that way because it suits us. We have some regular customers who stop by after they finish getting milk or snacks at the dairy. The chairs are comfortable enough, and we keep the place as tidy as possible given how much hair ends up on the floor. In Indore, people appreciate a good conversation, so there is always some chatting going on about local politics or the food in the markets. We do not use any high-end products, just the usual stuff you find in a local shop. It is just me and my brother running things most days. We open up early and stay late if there are people still waiting for a turn. It is a simple life for us. We like being in Vijay Nagar because it feels active and full of life.
