International Steel

We are International Steel, located at No-78-79 in the Industrial Estate over by the Polo Ground. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. There is always the sound of metal clanging or engines running nearby. Our space isn't very pretty, but it is functional. We have high ceilings and plenty of room for our inventory. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the steel coming in and getting it ready to go back out to customers. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We treat each other more like friends than just coworkers. There is no corporate ladder here to climb. We just want to do a decent job so we can keep the lights on and everyone paid. The Polo Ground area is a good location because it’s easy for the transport trucks to find us. Sometimes we get a bit of a breeze through the big warehouse doors, which is nice in the summer. We don't bother with flashy websites or big brochures. Most people find us by just coming through the estate and seeing our sign. It is a straightforward business for people who need steel and don't want any fuss or complicated talk about it. We just focus on the metal and making sure the counts are right.
