Indore Arts and Craft is located over at 248 Dk-1, Scheme No. 74-C in the Vijaynagar area. We have been working out of this spot for a good bit of time. It's mostly a place where things get made and stored. We have shelves full of different items, some finished and some still in the middle of being worked on. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. The shop is part of the daily life around here. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to see what’s new or if we’ve finished something they were interested in. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else. Working with arts and crafts means our hands are usually dirty or covered in something, but that's part of the trade. We focus on getting the details right even if it takes a little longer than expected. Vijaynagar is a busy part of town, so there is always noise outside, but inside we just keep our heads down and work. It’s a simple setup. We make things, we sell them, and we try to keep the shop running. We aren't a big corporation, just a small local spot trying to make a living. We’ve been here long enough to see the street change and new shops move in around us.
