Central India Handicrafts

You can find us at 19/3B on Y.N. Road. This is where Central India Handicrafts is based. It’s an older building, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Y.N. Road is one of those streets that always has something going on, whether it’s people heading to the shops or just passing through. Our space is filled with all sorts of things that people have made by hand. It can get a bit cluttered, to be honest. We have crates and half-unpacked boxes sitting around more often than not. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to polish our image. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and get to work. People drop by to see what new items have come in from different parts of the country. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. The light in the office isn't the best, so we often have to step outside to get a good look at the colors of the crafts. We like the feel of Y.N. Road; it’s central but still has a bit of local charm. We aren’t a big corporation, just a group of people who enjoy working with traditional items. It’s a simple life, really. We handle the shipping, talk to the artisans, and try to keep things moving. If you’re ever walking down Y.N. Road, you’ll see our door is usually open for anyone who wants to look.
