Goswami Classes

We’ve been here at the Mani Centre for a while now. Most people know the spot near Ranjeet Hanuman Square because of all the traffic that builds up around the temple on Saturdays. Our place is right in Annapurna Nagar, and it gets pretty busy when the afternoon batch starts. The rooms aren't huge, but they fit enough chairs for the students who come over from Scheme No 71 and the nearby colonies. I remember when we first moved into this building, it felt a bit empty, but now every corner has some books or old papers stacked up. Sometimes the noise from the square drifts in through the windows, especially during festival times, but the students don't seem to mind much. We spend a lot of time just sitting around these wooden tables, going over chapters and marking up notes. It’s a simple setup. There is a small tea stall just downstairs where I usually grab a cup before the evening sessions. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have these charts taped up that have been there for years. People just walk in when they see the sign outside. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a space where we sit and work through the syllabus every day until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It is what it is, a local spot for learning.
