Dilkhush Gents Parlour (Usha Nagar)

Over at 422 Amnapurkar Avenue in Usha Nagar, that’s where you’ll find our gents parlour. It’s a local spot in Indore where guys from the neighborhood come to get their hair cut or a shave. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have the classic barber chairs that have seen a lot of use, and a few mirrors that show their age a bit. We don't see the need for anything too modern because the old ways work just fine. Usually, there's a cricket match on the small TV in the corner, and that’s what most people are looking at while they wait. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly on a busy Saturday, but we sweep it up when we get a chance. It’s a place for a good chat about the weather or local news. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in, see who’s next, and take a seat on the bench. Most of our customers have been coming here for years, some since they were kids. We know how they like their hair done without them even having to say much. It’s just a regular barbershop for regular men. No complicated menus or expensive products on display. Just the smell of aftershave and the sound of clippers running. That’s how we’ve always run things here in Usha Nagar.
