D K Hair Cutting Saloon

D K Hair Cutting Saloon is over at number 10 in Macanic Nagar, right near the Bhawar Kuan area of Indore. We are very close to Bhawar Kua Square, which is a major crossing, so it’s easy for people to find us. The shop has been in Macanic Nagar for a good bit of time now. It’s a basic place with the tiled floor and those big glass bottles of blue aftershave on the counters. I usually spend my mornings sharpening the razors and getting the towels ready for the first few customers who come in before work. Macanic Nagar is a bit more tucked away than the main square, which makes it a little quieter inside the shop, luckily. We have some old fans on the ceiling that hum while they spin. The customers are mostly people who live in the neighborhood or work in the small shops nearby. I don't believe in having a lot of fancy decorations. I just have my tools, the chairs, and a few combs. Sometimes we have a little bit of a wait on Sunday mornings because everyone wants to look sharp for the week. We just chat about the local news or the weather while I work. It’s a small business and I run it the way I like, without any of that corporate stuff. It’s just D K’s place and everyone is welcome to sit.
