Crimson Beauty Salon. Our place is in Ahinsha Tower, G/2, right on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Indore. Most people just call it MG Road. We’re quite close to Indraprastha Tower. It’s a very central spot, so there’s never a quiet moment. The noise from the street is just part of the atmosphere here. We have a modest shop with the basic equipment you’d expect. A couple of chairs for hair, some space for facials, and a lot of product bottles. We don't go in for fancy decor; the focus is just on the work. The floor is usually a bit dusty because of the construction that always seems to be happening nearby. We spend our time between customers cleaning the mirrors and folding towels. The light from the street lamps starts to hit the windows in the late evening. We get all sorts of people walking in—shoppers, office workers, and locals who live in the apartments around here. It’s a practical business. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open the doors and do our best with whoever comes in. Running a salon on MG Road means you have to be fast and keep things moving. We’ve been in Ahinsha Tower for a bit now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We just keep the water running and the scissors sharp for whoever needs us next. Sometimes the tea runs cold when we get too busy, but we don't mind much.
