Our place is in Anoop Nagar, right near the LIC Square in Indore. It’s a very recognizable part of the city, and being close to the square means there’s always something going on outside, from political rallies to simple traffic jams. We focus on commerce subjects, so our rooms are usually filled with stacks of accountancy books, calculators, and long registers. The building we are in is quite plain, and we’ve kept the interior very simple. There are no fancy decorations, just some plain tables and chairs that get the job done. I usually walk from the square in the morning, and you can see the city waking up with all the tea stalls and shops opening their shutters. Our schedule is mostly built around the students' school timings, so the mornings are quiet and the afternoons are very loud and busy. We don’t really have a big team of people; it’s just a few of us who have a background in numbers and business studies. We spend a lot of time sitting across from students, explaining how balance sheets work or going over economics notes. Sometimes we lose track of time and find ourselves still working well after the sun has set. It’s a steady kind of life, focused on the details of the syllabus and making sure the work gets finished. We don’t use any complex systems, just a lot of practice.
