City Look Hair Salon

City Look Hair Salon is located on the Main Road near Geeta Bhawan in Indore. If you’ve been to that part of town, you know it’s always moving. Our shop at number 02 is right in the thick of it. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We have big mirrors that show everything and the lighting is bright enough to see what we’re doing. People come in from the heat outside looking a bit tired, and they leave looking much fresher. I spend a lot of time standing on my feet, moving from one chair to the other. We get a lot of young guys from the colleges nearby who want the latest styles they saw on the internet. I do my best to match what they want, though sometimes their hair doesn't want to cooperate. The floor is mostly tile, which makes it easier to sweep up all the hair at the end of the day. We have a small bench for people to sit on if the chairs are full. It gets pretty noisy when the traffic picks up in the evening. I usually have a glass of tea sitting on the counter that gets cold before I can finish it. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to be working in such a lively part of Indore. We just keep the scissors moving and the customers coming in.
