Choice Gents Parlour

Choice Gents Parlour is at 19, Rajat Jayanti Complex in Scheme No. 54 of Vijay Nagar. We are right by Tinku Everfresh, so if you are getting a snack there, you are basically at our doorstep. The complex is a busy place with a lot of shops packed together. My space is just a single room with the usual barber chairs and some shelves for creams and lotions. I try to keep the mirrors clean, but they always seem to get streaks by the end of the day. The lighting is okay, though I had to add an extra bulb over the main chair so I could see better when doing shaves. Indore is a fast city, but in here, things move a bit slower. Men come in to get away from the sun for a bit and leave looking a little neater. I have an old calendar on the wall and a small clock that ticks quite loudly. Sometimes the neighbor from the next shop comes over to share a newspaper or some gossip about the area. I don't use any fancy machines, just my hands and the tools I have had for years. It is a practical place for a practical job. When the sun goes down, the lights of the complex come on and the atmosphere changes, but the work remains the same. I just keep the shop open until the last customer is done.
