Apka Hair Cutting Saloon

Apka Hair Cutting Saloon is over at 81 Beema Nagar in Old Palasia. We are right opposite the Super Dry Cleaners shop. It’s a pretty simple place where we’ve been working for years now. The shop isn't big. We have three chairs and some old mirrors on the wall. People from around Indore come here when they need a haircut or just a quick shave. It’s a local business, so we don't do anything too fancy. We just use our scissors and clippers to get the job done. The neighborhood is usually quite busy, especially in the mornings. You can hear the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the hair. We have a small fan that keeps the air moving because it gets quite hot in the afternoons. Sometimes we have the radio playing some old songs. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby in Beema Nagar. They come in, sit down, and we talk about the news or how the local cricket team is doing. We don't have a big sign or any special lights. It’s just a normal shop for regular people. We sweep the floor a lot because hair gets everywhere. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like the people who visit us. We open early so men can get a trim before they go to their jobs. It’s just how we’ve always done it here. No big deal, just a haircut.
