We've been at 12, Main Road in Pardesipura for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Indore, and there is always something going on right outside the door. If you know this part of the city, you know how the traffic gets in the evenings. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a couple of chairs and big mirrors that have seen better days. Every morning starts with a quick sweep and getting the towels ready. We see all kinds of people here. Some are just passing through and need a quick trim because they realized they looked a bit messy, while others have been coming to us since they were kids. It’s funny seeing the younger ones grow up and start bringing their own kids in. The fans keep things moving when it gets hot, which is most of the time. We usually have the radio on or just talk about what’s happening in the news or the cricket scores. It gets pretty loud on Saturdays when everyone decides they need to look decent for the weekend. We don’t really do anything complicated, just standard haircuts and shaves for whoever walks in. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, or the light flickers, but we make do. It’s just how things are around here. We like the neighborhood and the people make the day go by fast. There’s always a tea stall nearby if we need a break.
