Agarwal Commerce Classes

Our classes are held in Krishi Vihar Colony, which is a fairly quiet area near Tilak Nagar. We are at 3 B, and it’s basically just a few rooms where we’ve set up some benches for students. Agarwal Commerce Classes isn't a big institution with hundreds of staff. It’s mostly just us handling the accounts and theory lessons for the local kids. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels quite safe and calm, which helps when everyone is trying to concentrate on their books. We started this because there weren't many places nearby for commerce students to go without traveling halfway across Indore. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise, and we have to remind the students to park their cycles neatly so the neighbors don't get annoyed. It’s a very local setup. We spend our afternoons going through ledgers and explaining tax rules until it gets dark. Most of the students live within walking distance, so we know their families and sometimes see them at the local market. It’s not a high-tech setup. We use chalkboards mostly, and the rooms can get a bit stuffy when they’re full, but we just open the windows and keep going. It’s a simple life here, just teaching what we know in a small part of the city. We’ve been doing this for a while now. We usually have a big water jug in the corner because it gets quite thirsty work talking about numbers all day. The curtains are a bit mismatched, but they keep the sun out during the afternoon sessions.
