Abhilasha Academy (Malganj)

Abhilasha Academy is located in Malganj, right at 26 Shreya Apts. If you know the Malganj Chouraha, we are very close to the tempo stand there. It’s a very busy part of Indore, always full of noise and movement. The academy is inside an apartment building, which gives it a bit of a different feel compared to a shop-front. You walk in past the main entrance of the building and find us at number 26. Because we are so close to the tempo stand, there is always the sound of horns and people shouting for passengers, but we’ve mostly learned to tune that out while we work. The space itself is quite compact. We’ve squeezed in as many desks as we could without it feeling too cramped. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the afternoon batches arrive, but we make it work. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just a small board so people know they are in the right place. The walls are a bit scuffed from years of students coming and going, and the fans hum constantly to keep the air moving. We’ve been part of the Malganj neighborhood for quite a while now. Everyone around here knows the tempo stand, so they usually find us without much trouble. We just do our bit, teaching what we know and keeping the academy running day by day. It’s just us doing what we can in a busy corner of the city.
