Marian College Kuttikkanam

Marian College Kuttikkanam is way up here in the hills of Idukki. If you haven't been to Kuttikkanam P.O, it’s basically a place where the mist rolls in almost every afternoon and everything stays pretty green throughout the year. We are located right at Kerala 685531. Most mornings start with a bit of a chill in the air, and you’ll see students walking up the slopes to get to their classes. It’s not a very loud place because we’re tucked away from the main highway noises mostly. The buildings have been around for a while now. You can see the tea gardens not too far off. People here are used to the rain; it pours a lot, so everyone usually carries an umbrella even when it looks sunny. Inside, it’s just regular classrooms and some offices where we handle all the paperwork. There’s always someone in the hallway chatting or rushing to finish a project. We don't have those fancy glass walls you see in city offices, just solid walls and windows that look out over the trees. It’s a quiet life up here in the Western Ghats. Some of us have worked here for years and we’ve seen the place change bit by bit. Sometimes the internet is slow when the weather gets bad, but that’s just how it is in the mountains. We just get on with things and try to make sure the day runs smooth.
