We are set up at the Koithanathu House over in Karimanoor. It’s a quiet place, mostly just trees and the usual estate sounds. Being a private limited company sounds formal, but it’s really just a family-run kind of thing at its heart. We spend most of our mornings walking through the estate grounds. Lalya is what we call the place. The Post Office is close enough that we get our mail without much trouble. Karimanoor is one of those spots where everyone knows where the main houses are. We don't have a big office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just the house and the land around it. My cousin helps out with the books sometimes. We started this because we had the land and figured we should do something with it. The roads around here can be a bit narrow, so you have to drive slow. We don't spend money on big ads. We’re more into just keeping the estate healthy and seeing who comes by. It gets really green during the monsoon, almost too green. We have to clear the weeds all the time. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Not much time for fancy meetings. We just stay here in Karimanoor and handle things as they come. There isn't much to it besides that. We just look after the property and hope people like the air out here.
