Viswabharati English Medium High School

We are tucked away in Rajendranagar Colony, specifically in the Santhi Nagar area. It is a residential neighborhood, so it is usually a bit quieter than the main roads, except when school starts or ends. The building is a few stories high, and we have squeezed in as many classrooms as we could to fit all the students who want to come here. Being an English medium school means we try to get the kids speaking English during the day, though you still hear plenty of the local language in the hallways during break time. The stairs are narrow and always have kids running up and down them. We don't have a massive courtyard, but there is enough space for everyone to stand together in the morning for assembly. Our staff room is small and usually cluttered with notebooks, pens, and tea cups. We are not a corporate chain; we are just a local school trying to provide a decent education to the families living around Rajendra Nagar. The desks are a bit old and some of the fans squeak when they are on high, but the kids do not seem to mind much. We spend a lot of time on the curriculum, making sure we cover everything before the big tests come around. It is a simple setup, and we don't try to pretend to be anything more than a neighborhood school where people know their neighbors and the teachers know the parents.
