St Angels School

St Angels School is located right on the busy Chandrayan Gutta Road in Hyderabad. If you know the area, you know how much traffic there is all day long. Our address is 18-12-418/144/A, which is right in the middle of all the action in Chandrayan Gutta. The school building is quite tall and narrow to fit into the space we have available. Because we are on a main road, there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background, but the students have gotten used to it. They come from the nearby houses and narrow lanes of the neighborhood. In the mornings, the gate is crowded with parents dropping off their children on scooters before they head to work. We have a lot of stairs inside, so everyone gets a good workout just going to class. The rooms are packed with wooden benches, and we try to keep everything organized, though it’s hard with so many kids. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day when everyone opens their tiffin boxes. You can smell all kinds of home-cooked food in the hallways. We don’t have a big playground, so the kids mostly hang out in the corridors or the small open space we have. It’s a very urban school, very much a part of the daily life here in this part of Hyderabad. We just do our work and make sure the kids are learning their lessons. It's a busy but good place to be.
