Mukarram Jah School

We are located on the first floor of H.No.17-8-71/1 in Chanchalguda. It’s a well-known part of Hyderabad, and we’ve been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know where we are. Mukarram Jah School is the name, but our daily life is less about a big institution and more about the students and teachers in these rooms. The building is right in the thick of things. It’s usually pretty loud with the sounds of the street and the kids, but that’s just the nature of a school in this area. We don't have a huge campus with sprawling fields. We make the most of the space we have on this floor. The rooms are filled with desks and books, and there’s always something going on. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us moving. We’ve seen many kids grow up and move on from here. The atmosphere is pretty down-to-earth and we don't bother with fancy displays. It’s just a place for learning and getting through the curriculum. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows for some air. It’s a real, local school with deep roots in Chanchalguda. We’re just a small part of the community here, trying to do our part every day without any big fanfare or complicated bells and whistles.
