Viceroy Hotel & Convention Centre (Soon To Be Re-Branded As Hyderabad Marriott)

Viceroy Hotel & Convention Centre is situated right opposite Hussain Sagar Lake on Tank Bund Road in Hyderabad. Things are changing around here soon as we are going to be re-branded as a Hyderabad Marriott, but for now, we are still operating as we always have. Being on Tank Bund Road means we have a front-row seat to the lake and all the traffic that goes around it. It’s one of the most recognizable spots in the city. The building is quite large because we handle conventions as well as hotel guests. It’s a busy place with people coming in for weddings, meetings, or just to stay the night. We spend a lot of our time coordinating between the different halls and the guest rooms. It’s a lot of walking back and forth. The view of the lake is nice, especially in the evenings when the lights come on, but for us, it’s mostly just the backdrop to our workday. We have a big staff to keep everything moving, from the kitchen to the cleaning crews. It is a very practical operation despite the size. We are just a team of people trying to keep a large facility running in a very busy part of Hyderabad. The transition to the new name is something we are preparing for, but the daily work remains the same.
