Venkatappaiah Co is located over in KPHB Colony in Kukatpally. Our specific spot is LIGH-619 on Road No. 5. L. Raghu Kumar is the one running things here. It’s a typical Hyderabad neighborhood, very busy and full of life. Our office is actually in one of those LIGH houses, so it has a very domestic, local feel to it. It doesn’t look like a corporate glass tower, and we like it that way. Inside, it is mostly just stacks of books and computers humming. We spend our time working through tax audits and financial statements. It can be a bit cramped when we have a lot of files, but we make it work. Kukatpally is a great place to be because there are so many small businesses around us. People often walk in just to ask a quick question about their GST or income tax. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We are just regular people who happen to be good with numbers. The neighborhood is always noisy with traffic from Road No. 5, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We have been in KPHB for a good while and know the area well. It’s a practical place for a firm like ours. We don't do any flashy marketing. We just do the accounting work and help out whoever comes through the door at LIGH-619. We don't use fancy titles either, just simple names.
