Vaishali Hospital

If you go right into the Main City area, you’ll find Vaishali Hospital. It is located right where everything is happening, so it is always a bit of a scramble to find parking nearby. We are right in the thick of it. The building has been here for years, and it looks like it, too. We don’t worry too much about the latest decor; we just make sure the rooms are clean and the lights work. Being in the center of the city means we get all sorts of people walking in at all hours. The staff is used to the pace, though. We spend our shifts moving between the front desk and the patient rooms, trying to keep everyone calm when the waiting room gets too full. There is always the sound of traffic and people talking outside the windows. It’s a very urban feel. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or glossy brochures. If you need a doctor in the city, you just look for our sign and come on in. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we are all part of the same community. We handle the paperwork, talk to the families, and keep the coffee pot going in the staff room. It’s a plain, honest kind of place that does its job in the middle of a busy city environment. No frills, just the daily work of running a hospital. We’ve been here a long time and know the city well.
