Ashok Kumar Hospital

We are located over on Street No-6 in Barkatpur. The address is 3-4-136/A, if you’re looking at the numbers on the gates. It’s a bit of a quiet street compared to the main roads, which is nice for the patients who need rest. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time. It’s an old structure, but it’s sturdy enough for our needs. We have a few wards and an area for walk-ins. It’s not a huge hospital where you get lost in the hallways. Most people can find their way around pretty easily after one visit. We have a small staff of nurses and doctors who live nearby. We don’t have those fancy automated systems for everything. We still use a lot of paper and pens for our notes. It feels more real that way, I guess. People come to us from all over Barkatpuran. Some walk, some come by rickshaw. We see kids with scraped knees and older folks needing their blood pressure checked. There isn't any fancy marketing here. We don't have big posters on the walls. Just the usual health charts and a calendar. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, or a lightbulb flickers, but we fix it when we can. It’s just a regular place for people to get some medical help without a lot of fuss. We do our work and go home.
