Apollo Hospital

This Apollo Hospital location covers the Hyderabad and Secunderabad area, which means we are right in the middle of all the noise and heat. The traffic between the twin cities is always a mess, so we spend a lot of our morning talk complaining about how long it took to get to the building. The facility itself is large, with hallways that seem to go on forever if you are walking them all day. We have a lot of different departments tucked away in different corners, and sometimes even the staff gets a bit turned around. There is always a smell of floor cleaner and the sound of trolleys rattling on the tile floors. We do not have a lot of quiet time here because there is always someone coming in or out. The canteen downstairs is where most of us end up for lunch, eating quick meals before heading back to our stations. It is a busy atmosphere with a lot of people from all over the city. We have a routine that involves a lot of walking and checking schedules on clipboards. The air conditioning works hard to keep the heat out, but you can still feel the humidity when the main doors swing open. It is a plain, hardworking place where we just focus on the tasks at hand. There is no time for anything extra, just the daily grind of a big city hospital that never really sleeps or slows down.
