We run Va Hotels Pvt.Ltd from our office in Malkajgiri. We are located at F-210 in the Rajsukh Apartments, which is in the Mirjalaguda part of town. This isn't a hotel where you can book a room for the night; it is just our main office where we handle all the behind-the-scenes work. We manage various properties and deal with all the daily problems that come up with running hotels. There are usually three or four of us in here at once. The office is basically a lived-in apartment with desks squeezed in where they fit. We have stacks of towels and linens in the corner sometimes, and there is always a list of things that need fixing somewhere. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones talking to staff at different locations. It’s a bit of a scramble most days, but we manage to keep things moving. Malkajgiri is a decent place to work because it’s a bit quieter than the middle of Hyderabad. We have a small balcony where we sometimes go to get some air when the office feels too crowded. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign on the building. Most of our partners just know where we are. It is a very practical, hands-on way to run a business. We aren't corporate people; we are just workers trying to keep the hotels in good shape for the guests.
