Uzma Begum

My place is at Door No 11-3-833 in Mallepally. It’s specifically in New Mallepally, which is a nice residential-feeling part of Hyderabad. I work from here, so it’s a very personal setup. Uzma Begum is just the name I use for my professional work. The office is really just a room dedicated to my projects. It’s quiet for the most part, which I like. I have my computer, a lot of notebooks, and pens scattered everywhere. I do most of my thinking and planning right here at this desk. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but that’s just part of living and working in Mallepally. I don't have a staff or anything like that. It is just me doing the work from start to finish. I find that this way I can keep track of every little detail without things getting lost. People usually get in touch with me first and then we figure out if they need to come by the house. It’s a very simple way of doing things. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I know the streets well. My workspace isn't meant to impress anyone, it’s just where I get my tasks done. It’s practical and it works for my life. I just take things one day at a time and keep moving. It is more about the output than having a flashy office space.
