Avighna Collections

Avighna Collections is over at Flat 402 on the 4th floor of Ra Residency. We are right in the Somajiguda area. It’s a bit different because we aren’t a street-level shop, so you have to take the lift or the stairs up. Being in an apartment building means it’s a lot quieter than the main road outside. We have set up the space to hold all the clothes and collections we keep. There are racks along the walls and some tables in the middle. Most of the time, the living room area is where we show people what we have. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when a few people come at once, but we make it work. Somajiguda is a busy part of the city, so there is always traffic outside, but once you get up to the fourth floor, it feels much calmer. We spend the mornings sorting through new stock and folding things back up. It’s mostly just us running things, so there isn’t any formal staff or anything like that. We keep a diary of what’s sold and what’s coming in next week. Sometimes the sunlight comes in really strong through the balcony doors and we have to pull the curtains so the colors don't fade. It’s a simple setup for our little business. People usually call before coming up so we know to expect them. We've been here for a couple of years now and most of our neighbors know what we do.
