Working on Road No. 1 in Banjara Hills is always a bit chaotic because of the mall. We are located right near City Center Mall, so there is constant traffic and people walking by our door. At Topcat Computer Services, we deal with all kinds of computer issues every single day. People bring in laptops that won’t turn on or old desktops that are making strange clicking noises. Our work desks are usually covered in tiny screws, metal tools, and opened-up machines. It is not the neatest place you have ever seen, but we know where everything is kept. We spend most of the day staring at screens or trying to figure out why a certain motherboard stopped working. Sometimes it is just a simple fix like a loose cable and other times it takes us all afternoon to find the problem. The mall nearby means we get people dropping things off before they go to watch a movie or shop. It makes the day go by pretty fast. There is always someone coming in asking for a specific connector or a new mouse. We keep a lot of those spare parts in the back room. It is a bit cramped in here with all the towers and monitors stacked up. We have been at this location for a good bit now. Everyone around here knows where to find us. Dealing with technology is a headache, but it is just our daily job.
