Tisya Fashions

We are located over at A-514 in Gilmohar Gardens. It’s a residential area in Mallapur, so it’s not like those big shopping districts in the city center. We started Tisya Fashions right here because it was convenient. The space is basically a converted room where we keep all our supplies. It’s quiet out here, which I like because I can actually hear myself think while I’m working. Mallapur is growing fast, but our little corner remains pretty calm. There’s a lot of thread and fabric bits stuck in the rug, no matter how much I sweep. I usually spend my mornings checking on orders and seeing what needs to be finished. It’s just a small operation. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy display window. People from the gardens usually just drop by when they need something done. Sometimes we sit and talk for an hour before even talking about clothes. It feels more like a hobby that turned into a job. The commute is just a flight of stairs, which is the best part. I try to keep things simple and honest. If a fabric isn't going to look good in a certain style, I just say so. I’m not trying to sell anyone on anything they don’t need. It’s just me and my sewing machine most days, keeping busy until the sun goes down over Gilmohar. I enjoy the pace of it all, really.
