The Palms

You can find us up on Level 4 of the Champa State building on Tilakroad. It is right in the Santosh Nagar area. Most people around here know Aditya Hospital, and we are quite near that. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the street below. You still hear the horns once in a while, though. We don’t have any big signs. It is just a regular door that stays open during the day. The building is a typical Hyderabad structure. The lift works most of the time. We usually just take the stairs if we aren’t carrying anything heavy. Inside, things are kept simple. We have our routines and the staff just gets on with what needs doing. It’s not a place with polished chrome or expensive rugs. We use the space to keep things organized. Some days are quieter than others. This is especially true when the afternoon heat hits the city and everyone stays indoors. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working at the main desk. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. We’ve seen the shops on Tilakroad change a lot over the years. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It’s a bit lived-in, but it works for what we do. We like the view of the trees from the balcony.
