The Golkonda Hotel

We are located at H/No 3-3-79 in Anand Nagar, Ramanthapur, over in Hyderabad. The pin code is 500013 if you need it for the map. It’s a busy area and the street can be a bit chaotic with all the rickshaws and people moving around. The hotel is just a regular building on the block. It’s not one of those massive skyscrapers you see in the movies. We have our regulars who come by because they know the area well. Working here means you see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through and others stay for a bit longer. The rooms are okay, nothing too over the top, just a bed and a place to sit. We spend our shifts checking people in and making sure the laundry gets done on time. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit frantic during breakfast, but we manage to get through it. The staff mostly comes from the surrounding neighborhoods, so we all walk or bike to work. It’s a very local vibe. We don’t really bother with big advertisements because word of mouth usually does the trick for us. The building has its quirks, like the squeaky door in the back or the way the hallway smells like tea in the afternoon. It’s just a normal workplace for us.
