The Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad

The Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad sits out in Survey No: 1/1, over in Hardware Park. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here to Maheshwaram Mandal if you’re coming from the main city areas of R.R. District, but once you arrive, there is just a lot of space. The grounds are really wide and the buildings are spread out quite a bit. Usually, things start pretty early in the morning when the sun is still coming up. You’ll see the staff walking around, getting things ready for the day. It isn't like those cramped schools you find in the middle of town where everyone is on top of each other. Here, there is plenty of room for the kids to run around or just sit under the trees during their breaks. The wind blows through the open areas and it’s actually quite peaceful most of the time, except when the bell rings and everyone starts heading to their next spot. We have people working here who have been around for a long time, just doing the daily work of keeping the place running. It’s not a fancy corporate setup or anything like that, just a school out in the district where people show up, do their jobs, and the students get on with their lessons. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the dust kicks up from the park area, but that's just how it is out here. It’s a real place with real people who just want to get through the day's work.
