Taj Tristar Hotel

Being located at 1-1-40 on S. D. Road means we are right in the thick of things in Secunderabad. The Seven Hills area is always moving, and you can hear the horns and the buses from the lobby most of the time. We have been operating here as a hotel for quite a bit, and the building has seen a lot of guests come through the doors. Some people stay for just a night while they are passing through for work, and others stick around longer. The rooms are basic and comfortable enough for a stay in the city. We spend our days checking people in, making sure the keys work, and answering questions about where the nearest good place to eat is. S. D. Road is a busy stretch, so there is never a dull moment outside. Inside, it is a bit quieter, though the staff is always running around fixing something or moving luggage. We have some regulars who come back every time they are in town, and we usually recognize them before they even reach the desk. The hotel isn't like those massive glass towers you see in the new parts of the city. It feels more like the old Secunderabad style. We deal with the usual hotel problems, like a leaky tap or a slow elevator, but we just handle it as it comes. It is a steady life here, watching the city move from our spot on the corner.
