Systen Engineer

We are set up at 10-145 in the PVN Colony over in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad. It is a fairly quiet residential area compared to the city center, which we like. Our office is basically a converted space that fits our tools and a couple of computers. You might miss it if you weren't looking for the number on the gate. There is a big neem tree right outside that gives us some shade during those really hot Hyderabad afternoons. We don't have a big team or a human resources department. It’s usually just a couple of us handling whatever engineering work comes our way. The floor is tiled and a bit cold, and we have some old metal cabinets where we keep all our files and drawings. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just fix things or design what’s needed for the systems we handle. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket in the street right outside, and we have to be careful when we pull the scooter out. We drink a lot of water and try to stay cool while we work through our lists. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the address anymore. We just keep our heads down and make sure the jobs get finished right. No fuss, no complications, just regular daily engineering work for the locals.
