Application Engineer

I've been working as an application engineer here in Hyderabad for a while now. My setup is tucked away on Srinagar Colony Road, right behind the BigBazaar in Panjagutta. It's not a flashy office, just a workspace at Ishmayel’s place where I get things done. Mostly, I deal with technical specs and fixing stuff that isn't running right. Finding the place can be a bit tricky since you have to go past the main shops to get to the back where we are. It stays pretty busy on this road, but it’s quiet enough once you step inside. I spend most of my days looking at drawings and calculating what parts are needed for different projects. Sometimes people drop by to ask about repairs or how to set up their gear. I try to be straightforward with them. If a job is going to take three days, I say it'll take three days. There’s no point in overpromising when there’s a stack of work already on the desk. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping things moving. We handle the local calls and whatever comes in through the post. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Usually, I'm here from morning until the sun goes down, making sure the orders are packed right or the designs are finished. That's pretty much what goes on at 8-2-53 in Srinagar Colony. We don't have a big sign out front, just a door that leads to the office space inside.
