Sunita Fashions

If you walk through Chela pura, you might find us at number 925. Sunita Fashions is right in the middle of the Ghansi Bazar-Charminar area. It’s one of those parts of Hyderabad where the streets are narrow and everything feels close together. I started this because I liked working with clothes. Now, the shop is filled with all sorts of things for people to wear. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and a lot of stock. Sometimes the dust from the street comes in, so we are always cleaning. Customers come in looking for something specific for a wedding or just for daily wear. We talk, we look at different colors, and we see what works. It’s a very local way of doing things. Being in 500002 means you deal with the crowds every single day. You learn to be patient. I know most of the people who walk past the door. The building is old, like most things around Ghansi Bazar, but it has its own character. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people finish their work and come out to shop. It’s a busy life but I wouldn't know what else to do. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in next. It's just a small family business that has survived because we know our customers well.
